Fees for Travel Planning Services
Consultation for the selection of the perfect cruise line, ship, and sail date for your event.
We don't charge additional fees to secure your event. Simply pay the cruise line's deposit. We typically negotiate refundable deposits wherever possible*.
*Refundable until a certain date, which will be disclosed before placing the deposit.
We don't charge extra to make changes to your group size. Starboard Events covers the cost of our Travel Partner's work. Period. Ever.
At least 1 Event Planner must be in attendance at all events. Client will cover the cost of the stateroom for Event Planner to attend. Our Travel Partner does work to get a negotiated rate for the Event Planner's stateroom to keep costs as low as possible.
*1 per 200 guests. Events over 200 guests or 100 staterooms require additional staffing of 1 per 75 additional staterooms provided at client's expense.
Because we are able to save you money in many places, our flat fee of 10% of your overall event cost allows us to provide the amazing services in a predictable fashion. This fee adjusts as your event comes to life. We will refund any overages after your event should we come in under budget, which is always our goal!
*10% for events over $50k. All events $50k and below are a flat $5,000 fee.
We charge 12% of the speaker fee to secure a keynote or other speaker for your event. We do not charge fees if you book your own speakers.
We will design, source, and assemble items for your swag, gift, favor bags and deliver to your event. Fee starts at $1,299 for the research and assembly, plus the cost of items and shipping.
*Up to 200 bags
Client is responsible for 50% of the travel expenses for our Events team when they must travel over 50 miles to a port. Client will pay only for transportation and lodging. Starboard Events bears the costs of all food and beverage outside of those offered at the event.
*This fee is negotiable depending on the size of the event.

We work with some of the top social media marketing teams to advertise and engage with your potential guests.
All fees are negotiable depending upon the event type. All fees are considered non-refundable unless expressly noted otherwise. Should you cancel your event, all fees paid will be retained. Client is responsible for any additional cancellation fees resulting from cancellation. Our Travel Team works to secure refundable costs wherever possible and will work with suppliers to recover as much as possible should your event cancel.
